The Republic of Azerbaijan and the United States of America intend to expand the scope of their defense and security cooperation, including defense sales, it has been noted in the Charter on Strategic Partnership between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United States of America, APA reports.
"Given their shared commitment to countering the scourge of terrorism, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United States of America intend to expand their existing counterterrorism cooperation;
The Republic of Azerbaijan and the United States of America intend to cooperate to increase capabilities in the field of cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection," noted in the Charter.
