A memorandum on cooperation in the defense industry between Azerbaijan and Türkiye has been signed as part of the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition – ADEX 2026 held in Baku, APA's Türkiye bureau reports.
The document provides for cooperation in the areas of higher education, scientific research, technology, and human resources development in the defense industry.
The memorandum was signed between Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense Industry, Ministry of Science and Education, Türkiye's Presidency of Defense Industries, and Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
In addition, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Defense Industry Academy and the Azerbaijan Defense Industry Research and Innovation Center.
