"All the conflicts happening in the world have a direct impact on the Turkish world," Fuat Oktay, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Türkiye, said at today's joint press conference, APA reports.
He also spoke about the possibilities of cooperation between Turkic-speaking countries: "Here we are not talking about one-sided relations. If we look at our region, the events happening here: the Russia-Ukraine war, the Iran-Israel tension, and other similar issues affect the Turkic world as a whole. But every problem has a solution. The Garabagh issue between Azerbaijan and Armenia has been resolved, and now the next stage of the processes between the countries is underway. The member countries of the Organization of Turkic States have a wide economic potential. When we use this potential in practice, the steps we will take will create ample opportunities for promoting peace worldwide."
