Elchin Amirbeyov, Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Special Assignments, visited the Netherlands on 15–17 December for a series of meetings as part of the enhanced political dialogue between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands, APA reports, citing the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Azerbaijan.
It was noted that within the framework of the visit, Elchin Amirbayov met with the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development of the Netherlands, Aukje de Vries, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Christiaan Rebergen, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marcel de Vink, Deputy Advisor to the Prime Minister for National Security, Jost van Doeteveen, as well as members of the Dutch Parliament and other officials.
“Discussions focused on further strengthening bilateral relations, including trade and economic coop, opportunities in water management, agriculture, maritime sectors, and exchanges on regional and geopolitical developments,” the embassy noted.
