The fourth round of political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad of the Kingdom of Morocco was held in Baku, APA reports citing Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry press service.
The political consultations were chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev from the Azerbaijani side, and by Omar Kadiri, Director General for Asia and Oceania of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, from the Kingdom of Morocco.
During the consultations, the current state of relations between the two countries in political, economic-trade, energy, transport, tourism, education, sports and other areas and the prospects for the development of future cooperation were discussed.
Satisfaction was expressed with the state of cooperation between the two countries on multilateral platforms and the need to continue this experience was noted.
The counterpart was informed about the latest developments in our region, the peace agenda, and the reconstruction and construction work carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
The parties also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
