"On April 28, 2023, at the joint press conference of the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France, Catherine Colonna, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, the baseless claims made by the French minister are unacceptable," Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan noted, APA reports.
"We would like to remind those who voice baseless claims accusing Azerbaijan of interfering in the territories of Armenia that it is Armenia that has been carrying out the policy of occupation and ethnic cleansing for 30 years.
It should be recalled that the Armenian side has not completely withdrawn its armed forces from the territory of Azerbaijan, has not liberated 8 villages of Azerbaijan from occupation, and continues military and political provocations.
It would be more useful for the French side to encourage Armenia to fulfill its obligations arising from the agreements and to refrain from provocations against Azerbaijan, instead of exhibiting biased approaches," it was noted.
