On January 23, 2026, an extended collegium meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the chairmanship of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, MFA told APA.
The meeting was attended by the senior leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and heads of its structural divisions.
During the collegium meeting, in line with the foreign policy course determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, discussions were held on the work carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2025, the main priorities for 2026, issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, economic, climate, and humanitarian diplomacy, international assistance efforts, diplomatic activities in the post-conflict period, efforts to protect the rights and freedoms of Azerbaijani citizens abroad, and matters related to the organization of the Ministry’s activities, and relevant instructions were issued.
