"The issue of the European Peace Fund was raised some time ago. There was a decision to allocate 10 million dollars to Armenia," said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press conference on the results of the year, APA reports.
The minister said that some countries said that if such assistance is provided to Armenia, it should also be provided to Azerbaijan: "One of the countries that took this principled position was Hungary. After that, 10 million euros were allocated to Azerbaijan, not from the European Peace Fund, but from other sources. This was allocated for demining work. We have information that 20 million euros will be allocated to Armenia from the EU, and it is important to allocate the same amount to Azerbaijan. Work in this direction will continue. Our partners from Hungary support us in this regard, and they will continue to do so."
