A delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations paid a visit to the Republic of Türkiye on November 26-27, the press service of the Ministry told APA.
The purpose of the visit was to further expand the existing mutual cooperation with the Emergency Management Agency (AFAD) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Türkiye and to exchange experiences.
During the meetings held with the participation of AFAD leaders and specialists, views were exchanged and presentations were made on national legislation in the field of emergencies, strategic planning, civil defense, prevention, preparation and elimination of the consequences of emergencies.
The delegation of the Ministry also met with the Head of AFAD, Ali Hamza Pahlivan. The Head of AFAD expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation between the emergency management agencies of the two brotherly countries and stated that efforts will be continued to further expand the relations.
Issues of mutual interest were widely discussed during the meetings, which were effective and productive.
