Azerbaijan makes continuous efforts in establishment of interreligious peace, Director of ISESCO Center says

"Azerbaijan makes continuous efforts in establishment of interreligious peace and tolerance,” said Ambassador Khaled Fathalrahman, Director of the Center for Civilizational Dialogue of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), at a panel discussion titled “A call for global dialogue to encourage tolerance, peace and respect for human rights and religious diversity” within the framework of the international scientific conference on the “Embracing Diversity: Tackling Islamophobia in 2024” held in Baku, APA reports.

“I express gratitude to the Azerbaijani government for its continuous efforts. Azerbaijan makes continuous efforts in establishment of interreligious peace and tolerance. I thank the participants of this conference. I thank you all on behalf of 54 countries to thank you. Our organization encourages dialogue between civilizations. We accept non-Islamic countries as members too,” he said.
