Azerbaijan made public the amount of material damage regarding the occupation of Khojaly

Azerbaijan has made public the amount of material damage regarding the occupation of Khojaly, APA reports.

In connection with the occupation of Khojaly by the Armenians, the damage was inflicted on the state and citizens, according to preliminary estimates, in the amount of more than 170 million US dollars, the head of the special investigation department of the military prosecutor's office of Azerbaijan, senior adviser to justice Emil Tagiyev told in an interview with APA.

According to him, on the instructions of the President, the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, local and international experts are currently calculating the damage in the territories liberated from occupation: "All documents related to compensation for this damage have been prepared and sent to international courts. In addition, the victims individually appealed to the European Court of Human Rights."
