"As UN Development Program, we have organized a joint conference with ANAMA. It has been very glad that the conference falls on namely April 4 - International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action," Sukhrob Khojimatov, UNDP Officer-in-Charge in Azerbaijan told journalists, APA reports.
According to him, significant information has been provided on works done in liberated territories at today's conference: "Today's event has been organized for our gathering, sharing our experiences. Representatives from more than 30 countries have shared their experiences at the conference. It is very glad. We already see here as a practice school."
Sukhrob Khojimatov has noted that Azerbaijan does much work for the clearance of liberated territories from mines today.
