Recently, at the initiative of Azerbaijan, which has assumed the chairmanship of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) for the next term, the non-governmental organizations of the member countries are gathering together for the first time, APA reports.
Today in Baku – at the “Gulustan” Palace – the official opening of the solidarity forum of non-governmental organizations of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States will take place.
The forum will be attended by more than 500 civil society representatives from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Hungary, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. In terms of total participants, this is the largest event organized so far under the line of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the forum, which will begin today, 2 panel discussions will be held: “Zangazur Corridor: A Bridge Connecting the Turkic World” and “1st Cooperation Forum of Azerbaijan–Kazakhstan NGOs.”
Today in Baku, the discussions at the “Gulustan” Palace will conclude with an artistic and cultural program.
