Azerbaijan and Türkiye to approve new action plan on economic cooperation
# 22 December 2025 15:26 (UTC +04:00)

A new Action Plan of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye will be approved, said Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov at the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, APA reports.

Ali Asadov noted that the decisions adopted at the Commission’s meetings and their implementation are of great importance for the development of cooperation in various areas: “The Action Plan signed in Ankara in 2024 has largely been implemented as a result of the joint efforts of the two Governments. The Action Plan, consisting of 120 items, has been implemented by 78 percent (93 items). The remaining items will be reflected in the new Action Plan. Taking into account the challenges of the time, new provisions are regularly added to the Action Plan. Today, we will also approve a 110-item Action Plan covering all current areas of our partnership. I hope that the implementation of the new provisions will have a positive impact on the further development of our cooperation. Tomorrow, the 2nd Azerbaijan–Türkiye Investment Forum will take place. It is gratifying that this event is already becoming an important mechanism for increasing investment flows.”
