Azerbaijan and Turkiye demonstrate very responsible position on issue of Ukraine, says Foreign Minister

"Situation in Ukraine causes concern, the issue has also been discussed at the meeting," said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the briefing after meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, APA reports.

J. Bayramov has noted that Azerbaijan and Turkiye demonstrate a very responsible position on the issue: "Talks with Russian, Ukrainian Presidents, calls for peace are an example for it. Azerbaijan calls on resolution of the issues through negotiations. We believe that results will be able to be achieved in the talks. An agreement has been reached between Russia and Ukraine in the humanitarian field today."

Foreign Minister has noted that Azerbaijan and Turkiye are dealing with evacuation of their citizens from Ukraine: "Our Embassies and Consulates work mutually. Our diplomatic missions do not differentiate between Azerbaijani and Turkish citizens."
