"We have common interests with Azerbaijan," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview with TRT Haber, APA reports.
The Minister noted that Azerbaijan and Turkey share the same future: "We see the influence of the strong leadership and brotherhood of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on these relations. From the first day I engaged in politics, I have worked to protect the interests of brotherly Azerbaijan on international platforms as Turkey. The Azerbaijani side did the same. All our Azerbaijani brothers, including Ilham Aliyev, have defended the rights of Turkey whether we are there or not. This is, in fact, the transfer of a long-standing policy to paper with the Shusha Declaration.
