A delegation led by Samir Sharifov, Deputy Prime Minister and Co-Chair of the Azerbaijan-Belarus Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation from Azerbaijan, and Natalia Petkevich, Deputy Prime Minister and Co-Chair from Belarus, visited the village of Gyzyl Kengerli in Aghdam, APA reports.
The deputy prime ministers were briefed on the agrarian township to be established in the village.
The agrarian township will be established with the participation of Belarusian specialists. The project will have a significant impact on the comprehensive development of settlements in the Aghdam district, the revival of rural areas, and the region’s economy.
Note that the documents signed between Azerbaijan and Belarus on October 3, 2024, envisage the development of agricultural production in the Aghdam district and the planning of an agro-township in the village of Gyzyl Kengerli.
