Azerbaijan and Armenia takes brave path towards peace treaty, German FM says

“We, as a federal government, support peace talks wherever possible,” said Annalena Baerbock, the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany in her X account, APA reports.

“Armenia and Azerbaijan are taking a brave and at the same time difficult path towards peace treaty. We, as a federal government, support peace talks wherever possible. Thus, the wounds can heal and people can gain peace. Every meter is important on the path to that direction,” – the German minister emphasized.

Note that yesterday and today meetings are being held between delegastions of Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia – Jeyhun Bayramov and Ararat Mirzoyan. On February 28, a bilateral meeting was held between the ministers and a tripartite meeting with the participation of the German Foreign Minister.
