"Awareness of Islamophobia in the U.S. is very low," Professor of Political Science at Tulane University (USA) Raymond Casimer Taras said during a panel discussion at the international scientific conference on “Embracing Diversity: Tackling Islamophobia in 2024”, APA reports.

"The internal factors that give rise to Islamophobia must be looked at. The wrong policy that creates the conditions for Islamophobic thinking, in a way, is the root cause of it. This means that philosophically, these circumstances allow Islamophobia to penetrate into deep layers, the formation and spread of racist movements," the Professor added.

Raymond Casimer Taras concluded his thoughts by stressing that classical liberalism has already lost its essence in the 21st century.
