"Azerbaijan has fought for peace for about 30 years," said Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration at Partnership Forum of the global campaign "Peace for Culture", APA reports.
Assistant to the President noted that many mottos on peace are sounded now: "Azerbaijan wanted fair peace. Azerbaijan's culture and society faced with injustice for 30 years."
H. Hajiyev added that Azerbaijan has already started reconstruction of Shusha, Karabakh: "We do many works for reconstruction of Shusha. We demonstrate peace to the world again with our works in Karabakh. Culture can not be thought about in the case of war in the background of the non-existence of peace, because culture remains in the end in the background of refugees, poverty. But now there will not be peace without culture."
