“Azerbaijan intends to start the reintegration process by opening the roads,” Assistant to President of Azerbaijan-Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev told journalists at the post created for Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society's food cargo on Aghdam-Asgaran-Khankandi road, APA reports.
“As part of this process, Azerbaijan is ready to ensure the rights and safety of Armenian residents living in Garabagh and its obligations based on the Constitution of Azerbaijan and the international documents Azerbaijan supports. However, we see that the Armenian side has intentionally turned the issue of the road into the topics of political speculation and political manipulation,” he added.
