“The OSCE Minsk Group is in the process of self-destruction,” Assistant to Azerbaijani President Hikmat Hajiyev told journalists in Shusha, APA reports.

“Thus, the Minsk group itself also issued statements in various aspects and different fields that these three co-chair states due to this and other reasons, especially in the light of events that occurred in Ukraine to come together. A high official of one of those countries expressed it clearly. As the statements issued by co-chair countries of the Minsk group note that the representatives sent to the region will no longer come in the status of co-chairs, but in a different status.

For example, in the statements made by the US, we also saw the sending of a representative as the person conducting the negotiations on the Caucasus in the context of the Geneva talks. In the official statements given by Russia and France, It is noted that their representatives have been given a different status. As a whole, the Azerbaijani side was raising this issue in essence within the framework of the post-conflict realities. Because there is no conflict, the conflict has been resolved. There is already a new direction of relations in the region these are Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. In these relations, the Minsk Group does not have any mandate-carrying function.
