"Provocation and terror committed by Armenians on the territory of Azerbaijan on the eve of the Washington meeting is not just provocation, but a special purpose provocation aimed at peace negotiations," Hikmet Babaoglu, Deputy Chairman of the Defense, Security, and Anti-Corruption Committee of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis), told APA in his statement.
Hikmet Babaoglu said that the Top Diplomats of both sides made certain encouraging statements before the meeting for a possible peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and it seems those against peace in the region did not like it and encouraged the terrorists in Karabakh to further provocation.
