"Armenia hopes to normalize relations with Turkiye through the support of Russia," said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, APA's Russian bureau reports.
"There is progress in the work of the Tripartite Commission on the opening of communications in the South Caucasus. We hope that this issue will be resolved with the support of Russia," Pashinyan stated.
Pashinyan said that Russia is the main security factor in the region.
He said that some forces were trying to introduce the Armenian government as too pro-Western or pro-Russian: "Those forces want to destabilize the situation in our region by these actions."
