Armenia may soon apply to the OSCE Minsk Group to mediate in peace talks with Azerbaijan, spokesman for the Armenian Foreign Ministry Vahan Unanyan told Armenpress, APA reports.
"Of course, the negotiation process must take place to sign the document. Since the statements made by both sides have not entered the negotiation process and the two countries do not have the experience of direct talks, Armenia will probably apply to the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair in the near future to assist in starting peace talks," he said.
Notable both Azerbaijan and Armenia have repeatedly stated their readiness to sign a peace agreement.
