"More than 1,400 landmines have been discovered in Lachin so far, and it is not known how many there will be in the future. This is a clear violation of international rights and principles, the trilateral statement," said Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said in his statement to journalists, APA reports.
Jeyhun Bayramov said that Armenia had violated the article of the trilateral statement regarding the Lachin Corridor.
"Bringing mines to these areas means that Armenia continues sabotage. Besides, it also means that the corridor of Lachin is used for other purposes. As known, Lachin Corridor can be used only in three directions, for citizens, transport, and cargo. This step of Armenia also means a clear violation of that article of the trilateral statement," the minister stated.
