"After Shusha (after the liberation of Shusha from occupation-ed.) Khankendi would be subjected to attack and tension would increase in the direction of Khojavand," said Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan at the meeting of the parliamentary commission investigating the circumstances of the military operations that took place in the 44-Day War, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
"Most importantly, about 25 thousand Armenian soldiers could be besieged," Pashinyan added.
The Prime Minister also noted that the fifth attempt to stop the war with Azerbaijan was made on November 9.
