Defense is a key pillar of the UK-Azerbaijan Strategic Partnership, British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld said on X, APA reports.
The ambassador expressed his pleasure at meeting with the President of Azerbaijan together with Lord Vernon Coaker, Minister of State for Defence of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and discussing future opportunities in the field of defense.
“The UK welcomes the progress made over the year and is proud of the growing defense ties with Azerbaijan,” the diplomat noted.
