On October 31, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, met with the Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Europe, Olga Algayerova, APA reports citing the Cabinet of Ministers.
During the meeting, the sides noted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan's membership in the UN was celebrated in the current year and expressed satisfaction with the comprehensive cooperation of our country with UN structures and specialized organizations, including the European Economic Commission.
Azerbaijan's successes in achieving Sustainable Development Goals were discussed at the meeting.
The partied also discussed the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UN.
