A meeting on “South Caucasus - Middle East region: Geopolitics and cooperation” was held at the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) with a delegation from Saudi Arabia, APA reports.
Chairman of the AIR Center Farid Shafiyev has informed the guests on the history of Azerbaijan and the geopolitical processes happening in the region.
He highlighted that Azerbaijan attaches importance to cooperation with both the neighboring and regional countries, and initiatives have been put forward for the implementation of several economic projects. At the same time, he highly regarded Saudi Arabia's support to the country on Azerbaijan-Armenia relations.
Several issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
