A rally in support of South Azerbaijanis was held in front of "Downing Street" in London, APA's Britain bureau reports.
South Azerbaijanis living in London gathered in front of the Prime Minister's residence "10 Downing Street" to make their voices heard.
The participants of the action drew attention to issues such as injustice against South Azerbaijanis, problems related to education, and human rights.
Savaş Marandli, the representative of the South Azerbaijan Independence Party in London and the chairman of the Coordination Council of South Azerbaijanis, said that they want to draw attention to the discrimination in Iran, the violation of the rights of women, peoples and ethnic groups in Iran. Savaş Marandli also stressed that they demand to prevent the drying up of Lake Urmia.
