President Ilham Aliyev sends congratulatory letter to Sultan of Brunei Darussalam

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah on the occasion of the National Day of his country, APA reports.

The letter reads:

"Your Majesty,

It is on the occasion of the National Day of your country that on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I offer my cordial congratulations to you and through you, the friendly people of Brunei.

I believe that the relations of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brunei will further develop and expand in line with the interests of our peoples, both bilaterally and within the international organizations, particularly the OIC and the Non-Aligned Movement.

I seize this pleasant opportunity to wish strong health and success in every endeavor to you, and peace and prosperity to your people.
