The governor of the US state of Minnesota, Tim Walz, has signed a statement proclaiming February 26 Azerbaijani Day, the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora told APA
The signing of such a statement was initiated by President at Azerbaijani Association of Minnesota Gunel Rallis.
The statement said that Azerbaijanis living in Minnesota contribute to local culture by preserving and promoting their mother tongue, rich national and cultural values and traditions.
The statement can be considered as a success of Azerbaijanis living in Minnesota in spreading the truth about our country.
