“Today foreign diplomats and journalists while visiting Agdam, Fuzuli, Jabrayil, and other previously occupied territories see with their own eyes what had been done there and what kind of vandalisms have been committed in our lands. Cities, villages, history of our people, religious monuments have been destroyed,” said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the meeting of CIS Council of Heads of State, APA reports.
“We ourselves put an end to this occupation by a force of arms, thanks to bravery and courage of our sons and actually, we carried out the UN Security Council resolutions adopted 27 years ago, demanding the withdrawal of Armenian occupier forces from the occupied territories. During the 28 years since the establishment of the OSCE Minsk Group in 1992, Armenia did its utmost for remaining status-quo unchanged. All the attempts directed to maintain status-quo unchanged were disguised by the Armenian leadership's imitative actions on the negotiating track. Actually, they deceived not only us but also international mediators,” stressed the head of the state.
