"70 percent of issues related to the draft peace agreement have been agreed," said Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration, at a briefing for the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, APA reports.
He noted that Armenia, in its turn, should accept the ethnic minority issue related to the Armenian residents of Karabakh, and this issue should be reflected in the peace agreement: "It had to be a mutual process. Unfortunately, hybrid wars and negative trends prevented further intensive negotiations. This issue is still on Azerbaijan's agenda, and Azerbaijan is still a supporter of the peace agreement."
