The Spanish team took the lead in the 15th minute of the match when 20-year-old midfielder Fermin Lopez scored his second goal in the Champions League. In the 17th minute of the game, Joao Cancelo netted the second goal, while Polish striker Robert Lewandowski scored the last goal in the 83rd minute to secure Barcelona's lead. The single goal for Napoli was scored by Amir Rrahmani in the 30th minute.
The game was played at Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium in Barcelona.
