In January-March of 2024, the total Gross Domestic Product (GDP) produced in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 29 bln. 96.8 mln. or 4% more than the same period last year, APA reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the information, value added in the oil and gas sector of the economy increased by 0.4 %, and in the non-oil and gas sector, by 6.7 %.
39.3 percent of GDP production is industry, 9.7 percent trade; vehicle repair, 6.8 percent transport and warehousing, 5.9 percent construction, 2.9 percent agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.4 percent tourist accommodation and public catering, 1.7 percent information and communication fields, 20.4 percent fell to other sectors, and net taxes on products and imports made up 10.9 percent of GDP.
GDP per capita was AZN 2856.5.
