New leadership appointed at Central Bank of Azerbaijan

There has been a change in the leadership of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), APA-Economics reports citing CBA.

The Director General of the Central Bank Ziya Aliyev has been appointed Advisor to the Chairman.

Thus, the number of advisors to the CBA Chairman has reached 5.

Vusal Javanshir Gurbanov, Seydiyev Elrad Eldar, Mansurov Anar Eldar, and Rasulov Tarlan Izzet have been appointed as the General Directors of the Central Bank since February 3 this year.

It should be noted that Vusal Gurbanov previously served as the Director of the Insurance Supervision Department of the Central Bank. Elrad Seydiyev was the Head of the Financial Markets Operations Department of the CBA, Anar Mansurov was the Head of the Financial Management Department, and Tarlan Rasulov was the Head of the Foreign Exchange Reserves Management Department.

Thus, the number of General Directors of the Central Bank has reached 9.
