# 18 August 2026 12:50 (UTC +04:00)

In 2026, GDP is expected to reach 138.0 billion manats, with real growth of 1.7% (nominally 3.9 billion manats more than the forecast presented when the draft state budget was prepared), including non-oil GDP of 100.0 billion manats, with real growth of 3.1% (nominally 1.7 billion manats less than the previous forecast), APA-Economics reports, citing the Ministry of Finance.

According to the information, the relatively lower growth rates expected in the construction and tourism sectors have affected the forecasts for the non-oil and gas sector as a whole. Thus, the forecast for real GDP growth in the non-oil and gas sector in 2026 has been lowered from 5.0% to 3.1%.

At the same time, taking into account the actual inflation rate during the past period of the current year, global commodity and food prices and their impact on import prices, as well as changes in regulated tariffs for goods and services and other factors, the average annual inflation forecast for 2026 has been raised from 4.8% to 5.7%.
