Azerbaijan’s manat is expected to remain stable until 2030, APA-Economics reports, citing the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), the research and analysis division of The Economist Group.
According to the EIU forecast for 2024–2029, the USD/AZN exchange rate will stay at 1.70, while the euro is expected to weaken slightly against the manat. Analysts project the EUR/AZN rate at 1.77 this year, 1.75 in 2026, and 1.73 in 2027, remaining steady in 2028–2029.
The EIU noted that maintaining a stable exchange rate aligns with the Central Bank’s policy, and no major fluctuations in the manat’s value are expected in the coming years.
