Prime Minister Ali Asadov met today with a delegation led by World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Rolande Pryce, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.
The meeting noted the existence of a long-term and effective partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank and stated that jointly implemented projects over the past period have contributed to supporting the country's socio-economic development.
It was emphasized that there are good opportunities to expand cooperation in sustainable urban development, green energy, transport infrastructure, agriculture, water supply and water resources management, as well as a number of other areas.
The meeting discussed prospects for developing mutually beneficial partnership between Azerbaijan and the World Bank and future joint projects.
Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov attended the meeting.
