Swiss authorities are ready to host a new round of trilateral talks on Ukraine, according to a response to a TASS inquiry from Swiss Foreign Ministry spokesman Pierre Alain Elchinger, APA reports.
Responding to TASS's question about Switzerland's readiness to host such a meeting, he noted that Bern "supports any diplomatic initiative aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine." Elchinger emphasized that the confederation's Ministry of Foreign Affairs "maintains contacts with all parties and consistently offers its good offices." However, he declined to elaborate or comment on whether the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs had already received a request to organize such a meeting.
