Russia has all the necessary intelligence capabilities to monitor the situation along its borders, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said while commenting on reports that Estonia is deploying troops to the border with Russia, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
“Undoubtedly, the Ministry of Defense and our other relevant services have the necessary intelligence capabilities to monitor and properly assess the situation around our border,” the Russian presidential spokesman stressed.
It should be noted that the Financial Times reported that Estonia is deploying troops toward the Russian border. According to the report, Estonia is actively moving its forces toward the border with Russia as part of a program referred to as “active defense.”
