Today's session of the Parliament of Georgia started with a conflict between the MPs, APA Tbilisi correspondent reports.
Aleko Elisashvili, an MP of the Citizens opposition party said that reintroduction of the draft law on foreign agents by the ruling Georgian Dream party is an insult to everyone and called it “Russian Law”.
The MPs from the ruling party protested Elisashvili’s statement, which later turned into a confrontation.
Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili demanded that the MPs not to use the word "Russian law".
Later, speaker removed Aleko Elisashvili from the meeting hall.
