European Union leaders are preparing for possible negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine.
According to Financial Times, President of the European Council António Costa believes the EU has the potential to hold talks with Russia.
He also stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy supports this approach.
“I am speaking with the 27 leaders of EU member states to determine the best way to organize the steps we will take and to clarify what exactly we should effectively discuss with Russia when the time comes,” Costa said.
