Two ships were hit by drones in Bulgaria's Black Sea economic zone, the office of President Iliana Iotova said on Tuesday, without providing further details, Reuters reports.
President Iliana Iotova has changed her programme in connection with the drone strikes on two ships in Bulgaria’s economic zone in the Black Sea, cancelling her visit to Veliko Tarnovo scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday to present the results of archaeological research and restoration work on Trapezitsa Hill, the President’s Press Secretariat said.
Iotova, who is also a presidential candidate, has also cancelled her planned campaign meetings because of the incident in Bulgaria’s economic zone in the Black Sea, the press centre of the Iliana Iotova - Kiril Valchev Initiative Committee said.
Prime Minister Rumen Radev's press service said he will convene a meeting with representatives of state institutions in response to the drone strike.
