Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko does not rule the possible premiership of Yulia Timoshenko.
“Anything is possible,” he said in a TV bridge from Sumy. “Democratic forces have a chance, but I wish they do not miss it like they did 1.5 years ago.”
Yushchenko condemned representatives of democratic forces who base their election campaigns on criticism of other democratic candidates. In his opinion, politicians must unite around Ukrainian values.
Timoshenko said in Lutsk on Tuesday that her bloc will support the common democratic candidate at the next presidential elections if they form a coalition with the pro-presidential Our Ukraine – People’s Self Defense.
“If a broad coalition involving Our Ukraine and the Party of Regions is formed in the new parliament, we will naturally take part in the presidential elections,” she added. /APA/
