In January-March of 2024, the trde turnover between Azerbaijan and China rose by 19.8% or $123 million 763 thousand compared to the corresponding period of last year and amounted to $748 million 785 thousand, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
During this period, the trade turnover with China made up 5.31% of the total trade turnover of Azerbaijan in the first quarter.
During the reporting period, the volume of exports from China to Azerbaijan was equal to $743 million 728 thousand, and the volume of exports from Azerbaijan to China was equal to $5 million.
Note that in 2023, the trde turnover between Azerbaijan and China rose by 43.7% or $942.5 million compared to the last year and amounted to $3 billion 101.5 million.
Recall that in the first quarter of 2024, the total trade turnover of Azerbaijan amounted to $9 billion 695 million, and non-oil exports amounted to $673 million 709 thousand.
