The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Portugal in the first quarter of this year amounted to USD 107 million 881 thousand, APA-Economics reports citing the report of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
The volume of this indicator increased by 64% or USD 42 million compared to the corresponding period of last year. Thus, the trade turnover of Azerbaijan and Portugal was USD 65 million 793 thousand in the corresponding period of last year.
In the reporting period, the volume of exports from Azerbaijan to Portugal increased by 66% amounting to USD 104 million 135 thousand and the volume of exports from Portugal to Azerbaijan increased by 29.6% and amounted to USD 3 million 746 thousand.
Note that the trade turnover with Portugal made up 1.11% of the total trade turnover of Azerbaijan.
