The filling level of underground gas storage facilities in European Union countries has fallen below 30%, APA-Economics reports, citing the Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE).
The total volume of gas currently stored in EU countries stands at nearly 33 billion cubic meters.
Note that since October 13 of last year, the start of the heating season, European countries have withdrawn approximately 65 billion cubic meters of gas from storage facilities.
Since December 31, 2020, Azerbaijani gas has been transported to Europe via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP).
